Santa Clara Playgrounds (Under Construction!)

It's been years and years, but I'm finally rebuilding the blog!

Here are reviews of Santa Clara's playgrounds and a couple of lists to help you find the right one for your family! (I'll be adding reviews one at a time as I re-do the posts -- some are from 10+ years ago!)

The Best Santa Clara Playgrounds
  • Magical Bridge (Central Park): 909 Kiely Boulevard (near Homestead). (Pros: Incredible inclusive features, deep shade in the summer, fully-fenced. Cons: Can get crowded — unsurprising since it’s so great!)
  • Steve Carli Park: 1045 Los Padres Boulevard (near Homestead) (Pros: Great tree-themed play structures, fun swings and spinner, partial shade. Cons: unfenced.)
  • The Clara: 2330 Casa de Luna (between Lafayette and Casa del Sol, near Levi's Stadium) (Pros: Colorful, unique featured, fully-fenced. Cons: No shade, no restrooms.)
  • Homeridge Park: 2985 Stevenson Street (off Woodhams, near Homestead) (Pros: Fun, forest-themed play structures, neat hill in the middle, large grassy area, nearby restrooms. Cons: Almost no shade.)

Shady Playgrounds in Santa Clara
  • Steve Carli Park: 1045 Los Padres Boulevard (near Homestead)(Solid shade from mature trees over different parts of the playground throughout the day; shaded benches)
  • Magical Bridge (Central Park): 909 Kiely Boulevard (near Homestead)(Amazing shade over most of the play area for most of the day during the summer/fall thanks to beautiful, mature trees. Limited shade when the trees lose their leaves in the winter, but you don’t really need it then!)
