Here are reviews of San Jose's playgrounds and a couple of lists to help you find the right one for your family! (I'll be adding reviews one at a time as I re-do the posts -- some are from 10+ years ago!)
My Top Picks
- Hellyer County Park: Renovated in 2017, this playground has phenomenal wooden play structures, a fun and unique splash pad, a fully-fenced toddler/preschoolers area, and lots of park space nearby (including large lawns, picnic areas, a lake, and trails). See link for full review.
- Murdock Park: Recently renovated with a really cool big kid play structure -- super tall, multiple fast slides, and fun climbing options. Also a fun little kid area, plus a full separate playground across the law and direct access to the paved San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek trail.
