'Twas the Weekend before Halloween...

Well, if you've stopped by the blog recently, you've noticed that my posts have been...well, sparse since the beginning of the summer. As you probably know, I was very pregnant in June and July, then very sleep-deprived in August and September, so a few lines on Facebook every once in a while was all that I could muster.

But with the end of October in sight, and one of my favorite holidays of the year just days away, I couldn't help but pull up Blogger and, for the first time in months, click that little pencil icon that opens a new post. (As I typed that, I realized the irony of a pencil design starting a blog post. Anyhow...)

If you love tricks, treats, or just the sight of little kids in costume, this is the weekend for you. Below are some of the highlights. Choose one or a couple (gotta get your money's worth on that costume!) and create some wonderful memories with your family. I didn't have the time to pull together links, but most of the events can be found on the SV Toddler Facebook page under "Events", and the rest can easily be found using that clever little search engine that starts with a G.

And (sorry, I have to say it), if you appreciate this post and plan to do any Amazon shopping this weekend or ever, please consider doing it via my affiliate link. It helps me keep this blog running at no cost or hassle to you. Thank you!
