Tegu Blocks on Sale!

Hey all -- I'm in the process of creating the blocks/puzzles section of the Toddler Gift Guide, and I just discovered some huge discounts on the wildly-popular (and usually super expensive) Tegu magnetic building blocks.

We ordered our first set last week based on the many recommendations we've heard from local toddler moms, as well as our own research, and I can't wait to put them under the tree (and play with them myself once they're opened!). We got a mid-size (22 piece) set, but they also have the big 52 or 40 piece sets, or small 8 piece "pocket pouches" if you want to ease into the Tegu-buying experience. :)

To give you an idea of why these are so well-liked, here's a bit from SV Toddler friend Joy's recommendation:
We love these blocks because they are so fun to build 3 dimensional objects that require pivots. [Toddler T] finds it fun when his blocks spin or rotate. It doubles for refrigerator magnets where he just builds shapes directly onto the fridge. I also love the social mission behind these blocks. It provides tree planting, child education, and holistic employment in Honduras. They come in very muted colors so less tacky plastic bright colors that I hate in most toys these days.

The sets that are on sale here are from the mahogany and "natural" lines, but there are far more colorful varieties too! Click on one of these links to access the main page, then look for the Tints, Nelson or Jungle lines, or for the small packs of single colored blocks.

Anyhow, I ran the search for Tegu blocks on sale for over 25% off and here's what came up:

Regular price: $75.00. On sale for $40.58, a whopping 46% discount!!

Regular price: $125.00. On sale for $90.92, a 27% discount.

Regular price: $85.00. On sale for $54.31, a 36% discount.

Regular price: $31.99. On sale for $22.07, a 31% discount.

Regular price: $30. On sale for $21.98, a 27% discount.

Of course, there are dozens of other Tegu sets available too, but given that cost is the most off-putting thing about these awesome builders, I thought it was worth sharing that these five sets are tremendously discounted. If you want some color in your blocks, the tinted or jungle-colored blocks may be more your style!
